MEET THE TEAR TEAM

Because this party didn't throw itself.

From the stage effects to the music and everything in between, there's a whole crew of guys who live and breathe Emo Night so every event is bigger and better than the last. Check out the sick team of dudes we put together below:

Brian Blackmore
DJ

A lover of music all his life, Brian is a professional DJ of 5 years and a former member of many bands in the pop-punk scene in Connecticut. He's here to help take you back to those awkward high school years when all you worried about was how scene your Myspace profile pic was and how you were going to get to Warped Tour. If Emo Night CT was N*SYNC, Brian would be Justin Timberlake.

Favorite Bands: Panic! At the Disco, Coheed and Cambria, Fall Out Boy

Michael Maximilian
Marketing

Mike is a 10 year alum of the CT pop-punk scene and an avid drummer. When he's not working on Wall Street, he's working on bringing you a bigger, better party experience. He's here to show you a damn good time. If Emo Night CT was the Backstreet Boys, Mike would be Nick Carter.

Favorite Bands: Motley Crue, Fall Out Boy, Every Time I Die

JJ Durand
Business Development
& Videography

Owner of Hello Me Films, JJ is a master of digital media marketing and has been active in the field for over ten years. You can find him editing all of your favorite Emo Night promos and commercials. If Emo Night CT was 2016's Ghostbusters, JJ would be Holtzman (Kate McKinnon).

Favorite Bands: Say Anything, The Spill Canvas, Fall Out Boy

Matt Wilson
 Production & Design

Evil genius behind the (patent-pending) TEAR DRYER, Matt has always had a knack for production and design. You know that sick projector and sweet video reel you see at ENCT? That's Matt. You know the crazy light displays? Also Matt. He even made the koozies. He's been a part of the CT punk scene for (no joke) 20 years. He knows his shit.  Basically, if Emo Night CT was 98 Degrees, Matt would be Nick Lachey.

Favorite Bands: American Nightmare, Operation Ivy, Off With Their Heads

Rob Hammond Photography

You know all those Emo Night photos you've been tagging and sharing? Those are courtesy of this guy. He might be hiding in the shadows, like a skinny Batman, but he knows what he's doing with a camera. He's been a photographer for over 7 years, so you can trust him to capture you singing your heart out and screaming along at every Emo Night. If Emo Night CT was The Jonas Brothers, Rob would be Nick Jonas.

Favorite Bands: Newfound Glory, Yellowcard, Simple Plan

Ken Picerno
Hype Man

To be honest, we're not entirely sure what Ken does. The list goes on and on. He's been getting parties started since he started going to parties (we're guessing it's been ten years or so by now). He's our go-to man when we need something done. You can find him everywhere, from the bar to the merch table, always having a good time. Basically, if Emo Night CT was The Spice Girls, Ken would be Mel B.

Favorite Bands: Paramore, My Chemical Romance, Sum 41
